The man at reception was very kind and reassuring. He helped me carry my heavy luggage up to the second floor, which I really appreciated. I chose this hotel because it was close to Kuirau Park, but a cyclone hit during my stay and I couldn’t go outside at all. The in-room kitchen and well-equipped cutlery helped me a lot and made my stay comfortable. Because of the cyclone, I had to change my bus to Auckland several times and checked out late, but the staff responded kindly and patiently. I don’t speak English well, but they listened carefully and were very helpful. Thank you very much for your kindness.

The hotel is nice and well-kept, and the guy running things was welcoming. One point to note is that the lady in charge can be rude in the way she speaks to guests; improving communication style would enhance the stay.
