Lovely pretty traditional Italian home. Host was AMAZING. So helpful and welcoming. Tea and coffee, biscuits and sweets left for us to enjoy. 2 beds in the room.
We used 1bed, really comfortable - we slept like logs and the air con also doubled as a good heater as nights were cool. The pizzeria 300m away was good. Also the town had a well which dispensed mountain water, you could make it fizzy for 10p - amazing!!
Also the Braceria in Gissi was also good and inexpensive for traditional food.
We would have sat outside on the little patio at the property, but the weather was a little cool and rainy at times. Being British we walked around in T-Shirts and shorts to bask in the 14°c sun when it emerged, much to the amusement of the Italians huddled in winter coats and scarves!
We loved everything. Took a bit of finding as we arrived at 2am, but got there eventually. Sad to be home now.
