Clean, quiet and in a great location next to the dunes. I really enjoyed my time here and hope to return soon.

Good location

There were tiny ants all over the kitchen upon arrival. Although the place looked clean initially, this was very off-putting, and I didn't feel comfortable cooking there, forcing me to eat out more than expected. Additionally, there were loud renovations happening in a neighboring flat. While the host, Ray, claimed he didn't know about them, under the Spanish Horizontal Property Law (Ley de Propiedad Horizontal), owners are legally required to notify the building's management before starting significant work. Either the neighbor broke the law, or the host wasn't being entirely transparent. This is especially concerning as I noticed the apartment was immediately relisted on Booking.com without any noise warnings, despite Ray confirming the works would last for weeks. Ray did communicate well and offered a refund for the nights I didn't stay when I decided to leave early. However, I was still mistakenly charged for an extra night I wasn't there. Furthermore, having to find last-minute accommodation cost me an extra £200+ and wasted half a day packing and dealing with customer service. As for the apartment itself, the shower is fixed awkwardly high and is uncomfortable to use. The place needs some TLC, as the towel rail kept falling off and a cupboard door hinge was broken, though this is somewhat reflected in the lower price. This noise disruption should have been disclosed upfront.
