Fir Grove

Lovely large house, well presented, clean and tidy. Nice external views. Kids likes the pool room. Welcoming bottle of wine too! Overall very good.

Parking. Owner should be much more transparent about this. The drive for the property isn't big enough for a family MPV. Hence why there is zero mention of parking in the property advert. Fine for a small to medium sized car but even then the exit is blocked by bins for this and all neighbouring properties. Needs addressing. Didn't like the fact there were some rooms locked off and marked private. If this is a long term rental, you should make these rooms available rather than keep for storing personal items etc.

First class accomadation with plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 adults plus 2 quiet dogs. Pool table was a great hit for everyone for our family tourament. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and it was the perfect. A shop with in walking distance and Dylon's were we had a lovely meal.

These comment's are not criticism's. A few bit's for the kitchen a veg peeler,carrying tray,water jug (made pimm's in a sauces pan) and a cafetiere...but it spoilted nothing for us, we managed. A rail to hang clothes on in the en-suite bedroom as no wardrobe and a lock on the bootroom shower door. The small outside wall by the drive needs some attention. Again this had no effect on our stay.

I'm always a bit doubtful about these reviews, but this one is genuine. I live in Derry NI, and this was my first trip / stay in Bangor. Daughter's graduation at Bangor University. Booked the house for 3 nights 4 days. Wonderful house..Large, well maintained, classy looking, the sort of house you aspire to after working all your life. Washing machine, dryer, pool table, modern clean and pretty expensive kitchen. great to show-off. Ample parking. bedrooms were classical and large. Elegant. Really restful break made better by renting this gorgeous house. One of our party had a drone, and took photos of us and the surrounding area. (I'm the good looking beardy weirdy fella in the sunglasses).

Having to leave !!!

It’s was ok. No wardrobe in bedroom. This is a let down. The curtains let to much light in, they don’t hand properly on the rings.

Parking not great, curtains in bedroom, no worth having. Let’s light in.
