A great property for us as large dog owners. Secure garden (for our sized dog), beautiful views, peaceful, wooden/tiled floors downstairs so easy to keep clean, plenty of room and very comfy sofas for the humans. House policy of no dogs upstairs or on furniture but that didn’t bother us as we have the same rules in our house. The location is stunning with wonderful walks on the doorstep.
We visited in November. The central heating hours are fixed and cannot be overridden which we do appreciate from a cost perspective. However, even with the log burner and open fire available to us the house was cold. This would not put us off returning - we would just be better prepared - but some others who like/need heat may find it too cold in the autumn/winter months.
