Het is een hele bijzondere en prachtige afgelegen locatie in Zweden. Waar we drie nachten heerlijk geslapen en doorgebracht hebben. We hebben er heel erg genoten van de rust, stilte en de natuur om ons heen. De omgeving is ook heel erg mooi om te wandelen, zwemmen en te eten. Je moet er wel voor rijden, maar zelfs dat is genieten.

Het aantal buitenstoelen waren er te weinig voor het aantal personen waarvoor het huisje is.

My other accommodation got cancelled, and I booked this house because, among the remaining options along my route, it was the best choice in terms of price and location for four people. The house had two completely opposite reviews: one said it was a wonderful place, the other said it was terrible. Well, both opinions turned out to be fair, because this house can appeal to some people and not to others. This is a countryside house that looks like it was left as it was by elderly people who used to live here. It’s not a house specially prepared for rent, like the ones you might be used to. Here you’ll find a strange but real smell, lots of insects, because it’s the forest, and you are a guest here. Yes, there’s old dust and cobwebs in the fireplace. I think the owners didn’t have time to clean everything properly, and hopefully it will get cleaner over time. There’s also an old Swedish cast-iron wood stove. But there’s also a regular stove and kitchenware for cooking. You can take a short walk around, but don’t expect any breathtaking views or major sights. It’s a convenient place to stay overnight on the way from Stockholm to Norway.

The bathroom could use a good cleaning. The outdoor seating area and furniture look tired. The pillows are too soft and the bed linen is quite old.
