Exceptionally clean, staff was friendly, and all the extra like the charging station, roku TV, and keurig were very much appreciated. Great value for what you get.

I can’t think of anything. Check-in was all electronic, which was fine, but we never saw any staff.

We stayed while visiting SW Iowa for a family event and needed a place that was "no frills", but not a dump (to put it bluntly). The hotel was exactly what we needed. The location is walkable to a Casey's and the local walking trail (which is VERY NICE), the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The shower water pressure was fantastic. This hotel has a cleaning staff, but the check-in is automated. The process went well and was easy. You pay less because there is no breakfast. From the outside, this is not a hotel I would have necessarily picked, but I chose it based upon positive reviews and location in the Malvern, IA area, and the relatively lower price than other hotels. I would stay here again.

The AC unit is very loud and sensitive where it would go off/on literally every 45 seconds through the night, but this can be adjusted. Also, the lobby monitor had some ambient music that was not unpleasant, but we could hear it from the room. I asked the REMOTE EMPLOYEE via a monitor to leave a note (at 3:45 AM) for someone to please turn it down the next day, and they did, so that's more of a pro than a con. If you are not used to hearing trains, bring earplugs because it may bother you (the train isn't right by the hotel but the sound carries).
