Great stay, loved the vibe, the dorm was clean, the food was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Night board games were a lot of fun. Overall, a great experience. Location is good too if you're looking for a less crowded area. Would definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful stay at Chhaon Stay. Amrit is a very responsive and helpful host, and we really loved the view. They also have a great collection of board games and books, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It was a great experience overall, and we’re already planning to visit again.

The room was beautiful, and the view was breathtaking - it was spacious and clean and had basic movable amenities to use. But other essentials - hot water was not available properly (we had to switch the geyser on for the whole night just to get enough hot water the next day), which affected the overall quality of the stay.

The general tardiness exhibited by the host. Had to ask him things 3-4 times to get them done, and it affected the schedule. Otherwise, he was sweet and well spoken, but this lack of attentiveness (for example - had to ask 5 times for a dental kit, and he forgot to cook the order for the picnic, which was discussed with him, and time was fixed as per his convenience). Another thing, wifi, it was extremely erratic, but it was manageable and overlooked, being in vacation mode and naming it a good reason to disconnect (although it is needed for necessary things as well, so one had to go outside or to the cafe area for better connection). If one overlooks this, then can consider to stay.
