Μείναμε σε αυτό το κατάλυμα στη Ρόδο και πραγματικά, για τα χρήματα που δώσαμε, ήταν μια εξαιρετική επιλογή! Από την πρώτη στιγμή οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί. Μόλις είδαν ότι θα ταξιδέψω με παιδί, επικοινώνησαν αμέσως μαζί μου για να ρωτήσουν αν θα ήθελα έξτρα κρεβάτι, κάτι που εκτίμησα ιδιαίτερα. Ήταν επίσης πολύ κατατοπιστικοί και με βοήθησαν να βρω εύκολα το κατάλυμα μέσω βίντεο και φωτογραφιών. Επίσης βοηθητικοί στο κομμάτι για μετακίνηση ή οτιδήποτε χρειαστείς μέσω ενός μηνύματος. Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται σε ένα συγκρότημα με άλλα διαμερίσματα, όπου μένουν και μόνιμοι κάτοικοι. Είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, ειδικά η κουζίνα, οπότε μπορείς άνετα να ετοιμάσεις και ένα γεύμα μέσα στο σπίτι. Η τοποθεσία ήταν επίσης πολύ καλή για εμάς. Περίπου 20 λεπτά περπάτημα μέχρι το Κάστρο της Ρόδου, που προσωπικά δεν μου φάνηκε καθόλου πολύ, ειδικά για να συνδυάζεις βόλτα και εξερεύνηση. Θα το ξανά επέλεγα σίγουρα!

Δεν έχω ουσιαστικά κάποιο αρνητικό να αναφέρω για το ίδιο το διαμέρισμα. Το μόνο σημείο που θα έλεγα ότι χρειάζεται λίγη περισσότερη προσοχή είναι ο κοινόχρηστος χώρος με τα υπόλοιπα διαμερίσματα, ο οποίος δεν ήταν τόσο καθαρός όσο θα περίμενα.

The interior of the apartment was beyond my expectations. The "balconies" were a bit small but functional and when the clothes were finished washing, they hung nicely on the rack outside in the beautiful Rhodian breeze. Within two hours or so, clean and fresh clothes!! Shower! Bed! Open Windows! Great local community and the local food and people. Outside of the main tourist area but accessible to many things!

The apartment is ideally located as it’s within walking distance to Rhodes old and new town and also to the beach, a sandy beach. Right outside the apartment there are bus stops that take you into Rhodes if you don’t fancy walking, as well as buses to Lindos, Faliraki and other nearby villages. Also close by are some great supermarkets and bakeries, as well as coffee shops and restaurants. A real bonus was Rodini Park just a 2 minute walk away. The apartment is one bedroom as I don’t like studios, so the separate bedroom, kitchen and living area was ideal. All had doors onto the patio, so the apartment was bright and airy. Huge tv in living room with Netflix, YouTube, Apple TV etc. Great set up Kitchen has everything you’d ever need, including a full sized oven and fridge freezer. Bedroom is big and the bed was really comfortable. A memory foam mattress, same as I have at home, so I slept perfectly the entire stay. Great wardrobe space in the bedroom Lovely tiled floors throughout As for Menelaos, he was a superb host throughout. Very helpful and attentive and always responded quickly, always ensuring I was ok and had what I needed. He was terrific. Menelaos even showed up early first morning with a brand new kettle. Great great host.
