Casa Dama

The apartment was very comfortable and contains everything you might need and more. It was helpful and touching to find some welcome food in the fridge for our late evening arrival. There was a filter coffee machine and some coffee, and a milkshake maker. The kitchen is well equipped, and the fridge is large and top class for all your water, fruits etc. Large balcony with seating/eating area and a separate area for drying your clothes. Washing machine if you might need it. The apartment is decorated tastefully and has a character. Good air conditioning, and good speed WiFi. While it was advertised as one bedroom and one sitting room/kitchen (with another bed), there was another small single bedroom (without an air conditioner, but the fan there did the job well). Nice and helpful communication from Manolis and his family. We liked the location, as everything was reasonably easily walkable. It is a quiet street but a minute or two walk to the main road with all the connections. The nearest beach, Zefyros Beach, was about 15-20 minutes walk for us (a family with teenage children), and it is a nice sandy beach with shallow water and not so many people (6 euro for a sun bed, but plenty of space without the beds). About 20 minutes walk to the old town (a must!). We explored all the beaches in Rhodes on both sides of the island (windy beach is great for sunsets), and they were all walkable if you are OK on you foot (but need a proper footwear, and the walks are up-and-down), especially since the streets are lined with trees, but you can use public transport too. There were several supermarkets close to the property, and nice little tavernas. Overall, very pleasant stay, thank you Manolis (and the family)!

Not related to the property, but in peak time it is impossible to get any taxi, whether over a phone or on the Main Street.

Fantastic host, everything you need is there, 25 minutes walk to the old town of Rhodes.

Nothing big, but the sofas in the living room are not very comfortable

Η εμπειρία μου στο Casa Dama ήταν εξαιρετική! Το σπίτι βρίσκεται σε ήσυχη περιοχή, πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης. Το σπίτι είναι φωτεινό, άνετο και πολύ καθαρό. Απολαύσαμε και το άνετο μπαλκόνι για όσο χρόνο χρειάστηκε να περάσουμε στο σπίτι. Όταν φτάσαμε, το καλωσόρισμα ήταν πολύ θερμό, που μας έκανε να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλικός και συνεννοήσιμος, πάντοτε διαθέσιμος και πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει με ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Σίγουρα θα το συνιστούσα και θα ξαναεπισκεφτώ την επόμενη φορά!

There was very good communication with the owner before and throughout the stay. Some food and drink were left for the first few days, which was a nice welcome. We enjoyed the balcony especially.

The second bedroom was very small, more suitable for a child and there was only a fan available in the room.
