Chalet Calin - Business & Familles

The hosts were great accomodating our requests. We travelled with 1 baby, 1 kid and 1 dog and all requests we had prior to the trip were attended. The house has a great view over Lake Leman and the French Alps. It has all facilities you need for a week(end) away. The kitchen is small but very well organized and has everything you need to cook and even store things in the fridge. The extra facilities, like a small swimming pool for kids, a jacuzzi, a sauna and lots of toys to entertain the little ones are a nice addition. The pool table, despite the short space in the room, is enjoyable. The Webber barbecue was great. The guests presented us with a free breakfast upon arrival and left all necessary toiletries. They also had coal for the BBQ. The hosts were great, making themselves available and being attentive.

Despite saying there is airconditioning, there is not, only ventilators. The beds were on the softer side. While there is space, this is a part of a larger house, where the hosts live and there is another zone to be rented. We had the expectation this was a property just for ourselves. The ad was not completely clear. More cutlery could be added to the kitchen.

Excellent accueil des propriétaires. Petit terrain parfait avec splendide vue, jaccuzzi extérieur, jeux pour les enfants, plusieurs ambiances. Equipements nombreux, je crois que rien ne manque ! Très bien situé.

La partie salle de bain est vite insuffisante en groupe.

Where to begin. First off, the hosts Gioia and Chris were the best hosts we have ever had in our many travels. They were so kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and more. The house was great -- many types of ways to make coffee, a mini dishwasher, and washing machine, a sauna, a separate WC from the shower/sauna. We wish we had more time to spend there. The hot tub was great after a day of exploring Bern and Geneva. We never got a chance to try out the billard table. The beds were comfy and huge. Two of the biggest beds I have ever seen. And the twin bed room was great for my sons. The kids enjoyed the lawn games, badminton and skittles. The town was great. Away from the noise of Geneva, but very close nestled into a mountain with great views and charming stores and restaurants. Had delicious raclette on a recommendation from the owners. Would recommend to anyone and would love to stay again.

I have no complaints about this accommodation at all. I know some may mention that it only has one bathroom, but the bathroom is broken up perfectly into two rooms. Sink and toilet in one room and then the shower and a sauna. The bathroom seemed like two given this set up.
