Excellent view from the property. Lovely gardens. Huge property. Host were very friendly and Mario came specially to pick us up. Lots of warmth from Mario & Shooni. Would definitely recommend this property. They had a lovely fire place and the wood stove which kept us nice and warm during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Schokarme and couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax. The peaceful surroundings, beautiful nature, and cozy fireplace made it the perfect escape. Schone and Mario were fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a delicious homemade pie, which was such a thoughtful touch. The cottage had everything we could possibly need, including a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, board games, warm blankets, and electric blankets on the beds. It was clear that a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel comfortable. One of our favourite parts of the stay was spending time in the outdoor seating area under the trees. We could sit for hours listening to the birds and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the smallholding. Thank you, Schone and Mario, for your wonderful hospitality and for creating such a comfortable place to stay. We will definitely be back and look forward to making Schokarme one of our regular stops whenever we visit South Africa.
