Far Niente Beachfront Guesthouse

Het gaat hier volledig om de fantastische locatie, aan het strand. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is er, maar het is erg gedateerd en oud, terwijl we dat niet goed aan de foto’s hebben kunnen zien.

Als een kapot roestig draadje van de plug van de wastafel nog niet eens vervangen kan worden, dan zegt dat iets over het onderhoudsniveau van dit huis. Het rook ook een beetje schimmelig. Het terras meubilair was oud en verkleurd. Voor deze prijs hebben wij in ZA echt in veel modernere accomodaties gezeten. Jammer ook dat het huis geen avond- en ochtend meer heeft in mei.

The property is right on the beach with spectacular views . We were allowed a flexible check in & Yolandie was friendly & welcoming . The property was perfectly clean & comfortable . It was comfortably equipped .

When booking remember that it is an older property with a rustic feel with the thatched roof .

The old Cape-Dutch style homestead is beautiful. The view from the house was out of this world. You go to sleep with the sound of the waves, and you wake up to the sound of the waves. Very comfy bed. Day trip to Knysna with Uber.

Roadworks caused noise and delays. Not the property's fault. We did not have our own transport so getting around was difficult, but possible. Don't simply rely on Uber. Ask around for lifts.

The location is perfect and the view is just incredible. The team has been very friendly and has offered very fair solutions solving our issues.

The apartment has a distinctly older character, and much of the furniture shows noticeable signs of wear. Some surfaces feel sticky to the touch. The bathroom matches the overall style; unfortunately, both the shower and bathtub lack the comfort that would encourage a relaxing bath. The master bed provides reasonable comfort. However, the additional bed in the lounge is simply a mattress placed on a wooden board—suitable perhaps for a small child, but not for an adult. One of the windows was missing the curtains, so the room becomes brightly lit as soon as the sun rises. There is only a single small heater provided for both rooms, which may not be sufficient on colder days.
