Skyline CBD Retreat - Pool & Stunning Views

Location is amazing, 3 minute walk to Melbourne central station. Everything you need is so close. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Great views, balcony etc. Tiny, but mostly has what you need.

Booked in for 6 nights but only 2 towels each. Hosts provided more on request but was a hassle to organise. No facecloths or bottle opener. No top sheets on beds, just bottom sheet and duvet, was a bit strange. Check out arrangements very inconvenient especially if you have an early flight. If things were more seamless there would be a lot less time wasted messaging back and forth. Walls and carpet a bit dirty.

Location location location!! The apartment is a few min walk from everything, tram, train, shops and restaurants. The view from balcony at level 43 amazing! The key pickup is just around the corner at IGA so you can grab your essentials at the same time. The towels were lovely and soft. Beds was comfy and warm There is plenty of hangers and a heater that kept us toasty warm. I will definitely stay again on next visit to Melbourne

If I have to nit pick we only had coffee mugs or wine glasses to drink from. You only get the one key There is no dryer or washing machine These didn't affected our stay at all

This apartment was clean and the access instructions were really easy to follow. The host was super responsive. There was no wifi when we got there and he drove 45 mins after work in peak hour traffic to come and fix it for us which I was super grateful for as I had work I needed to do on my laptop. The location was amazing. We were a block from Melbourne Central and seconds from shops, trams and trains. We walked everywhere. The location couldn’t have been better. The kitchen was well-equipped, despite us never using it given every possible and high-quality eating-out option is seconds away.

Some disappointments for us was that the TV was cracked and couldn’t be watched. It’s a tiny apartment which wouldn’t matter if there were shelving/drawers in the built ins. There is only hanging space without coat hangers. I was travelling with kids and we had to live out of our suitcases which when there is no spare floor space became a real obstacle. Would make it soooooo much more liveable if there were some drawers/open shelving in the built ins. We then found that a dining room table leg just fell off as it had obviously been broken previously. These things being broken was awkward as it made me feel like the owner might think it was us. I think this should have been checked before our arrival. We did’t have enough toilet paper to last our stay. The spa and sauna (the reason we chose the apartment) were under maintained during our stay; which was just bad timing. The worst was that the elevators were broken and only one of three was in use on the day of our departure but there was no signage to inform guests of possible delays. It took us 30 minutes to leave the building. That was super stressful as we had a flight to catch.
