Vancouver Condo-Park-Walk to Stadium-Sleeps 4

The property is an excellent base for exploring Vancouver, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Many attractions and amenities are within walking distance, and the SkyTrain is conveniently close, making it easy to reach downtown and other parts of the city. The host was friendly, helpful, and very responsive throughout our stay. The secure underground parking was a real bonus, and access to both the building and apartment was straightforward and hassle-free. The apartment was well equipped, with a generous supply of crockery, cutlery, and kitchen essentials. We also enjoyed the local neighbourhood amenities. The London Pub on the corner is welcoming and friendly, with plenty of sports shown on TV, while the nearby Italian restaurant served excellent food and was a real highlight of our stay. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with great local facilities close at hand.

I think it’s worth mentioning that the apartment is located close to an area where there is a visible homeless and drug-using population, with some overspill into the surrounding streets. This is, of course, outside the owner’s control, but it may be distressing for some guests and, in my opinion, may not be suitable for families with young children. Despite this, I never felt unsafe—it’s simply sensible to give people their space and be aware of your surroundings. There is a regular police presence in the area, although this also means police and ambulance sirens can be heard throughout the day and night. I found it best to walk left when leaving the building, as this route avoids Hastings Street. We were told locally that some people had been relocated from areas around the World Cup stadium and fan zones to this neighbourhood, which may have contributed to the level of street activity we observed, although I cannot independently verify this.

Well-designed, modern, enough space to sleep, watch TV, cook and eat. Good facilities (kitchen, washing machine). Location - 30 minutes walk to downtown. Taxi driver warned us about not going out at night because of the high number of homeless people on streets nearby but we never had any problem with them.

The only thing was the wifi which was not stable and only a few TV channels could be accessed. I had to use my own 4G connection for YouTube, Netflix, etc
