Smith Mountain Lake Retreat w/ Resort Amenities!

The lock box containing the key was easy to access. I have been at other rentals where I needed help so was relieved at how easy this one was. Once inside the unit everything we could want or need was available to us. The beds were very comfortable and I was grateful the linens and towels were of good quality. The porch is where we spent most of our time. The unit is far enough away from the pool that it was quiet and relaxing and yet very close when you did want to be around people. Having a store and restaurant onsite was a plus. There were a lot of activities to do on site and in the local area. I would plan to visit the area and again and this unit would be at the top of my list if the dates are available. Our host was extremely helpful and made himself available to us. Thank you!

The only drawback was nowhere for breakfast unless you drove.

The property has a great view, the host checks on you periodically, but is not pushy. Great host!!

The location was perfect. The unit was very up-to-date and very clean. All appliances are new and very well maintained. The owner and his wife were very lovely..
