The house is spacious and has a lovely traditional character. It is a perfect location if you want to experience a more authentic and peaceful side of Rhodes, away from the busy tourist areas. There are many goats around the area, which is very characteristic of this part of the island and added to the authentic atmosphere. Our children really loved staying here. There are two small beaches nearby, about a 10–15 minute walk from the house. The water is incredibly clear and clean. The beaches are rocky, so water shoes are definitely recommended. We especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace, the privacy and the peaceful surroundings. Overall, it is a beautiful place for families who appreciate nature, tranquillity and a more authentic local experience.

The biggest issue for us was the access to the property. The last part of the road is a hilly, unpaved and rocky serpentine road, with narrow and uneven sections. We strongly recommend renting a car with higher ground clearance, as the road is quite rocky and may be uncomfortable or difficult with a low car. This is especially important to consider if you are not a confident driver or are travelling with children. Another issue during our August stay was the air conditioning. There was only one air-conditioning unit in the central room, while the bedrooms did not have air conditioning. With temperatures around 40°C, the bedrooms became very hot, particularly at night. We feel that both the road conditions and the limited air conditioning should be described more clearly in the property listing, as they can significantly affect the comfort of the stay.

Privažiavimui reikia pasirinkti tinkamą (aukštesnį) automobilį, bet vieta to verta. Tikėjausi labiau smėlėto paplūdymio, bet kam netinka, visai netoli yra geriausi Rodo paplūdymiai.
