Appartamento Via Mare

The accommodation is spacious and the beds are comfortable, the WIFI worked well. Two refrigerators are great, we used them. The dishwasher was also great and comes in handy with such a large number of guests. The washing machine is also a great thing and we used it. The great terrace for evening gatherings facing away from the street was pleasantly quiet even though without a sea view. The hosts are very nice and went out of their way to accommodate us with everything we needed. They even offered us a small compensation in the form of an invitation to a pizza party as compensation for the strong storm that broke the roof window in the room we didn't go to anyway. We received bed linen and towels in the price of the accommodation, which was a great surprise, since it was supposedly not like that in the past. The location of the accommodation is on a busy street, but that didn't hinder us in any way, as I mentioned above. Parking on the street near the apartment was free and in most cases it was easy to find a free space. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away which was great, a short walk was a good idea for everyone. Also, shops are within walking distance, no need to use a car except for larger shops further away.

The TV didn't work, or rather, we couldn't tune in to TV stations, but we didn't fix it because we didn't plan to use it. The air conditioning is only in the living room and it's quite weak. Temperatures above 30 degrees are harder to bear, especially in the bedrooms where the air conditioning doesn't reach. The rooms have fans, but they aren't very effective at higher temperatures. There were also problems with hot water in the showers, which didn't really bother us considering the warm weather. The cleanliness of the shower stall and bathtub could be better, but it was manageable.

Noi siamo andati in 8 e la casa era perfettamente adeguata a tutti i nostri bisogni. Molto pulita, con ventilatori presenti in ogni camera (con condizionatore in soggiorno), terrazzi meravigliosi e adatti a mangiare fuori ad ogni pasto. I proprietari estraneamente gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti ad aiutare. Posizione rispetto al mare e al supermercato ottima. Vicino a fermati di pullman per arrivare nella parte più alta della città. Appartamento molto attrezzato, presenti asciugami e lenzuola per tutti (sotto richiesta e non a pagamento), presenti tutte le cose che servono in cucina.

Bisogna essere consapevoli che l’appartamento si trova all’ultimo piano di un edificio da tre piani, senza ascensore.

Excellent location and the hosts are absolutely lovely. The apartment itself is really nice and spacious. The 2 terraces are superb. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room. The two bathrooms really help. My elderly parents could call on the hosts and they always welcomed them with open arms which I truly appreciated.

The apartment states air conditioned. Only the kitchen area has a unit and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable in all the bedrooms and bathrooms. We stayed in June. I wish the air conditioning was everywhere as it made it difficult to sleep. 2. There were extra charges for linens and towels. There were not enough towels for all of us to stay and many provided were quite small and inadequate. I don’t travel with bed sheets and towels for seven people. I would have preferred this be included in price and accommodations. I think this is an easy fix. When looking for an air bnb I am basing my decision on pricing and location. I didn’t like the additional charge told to me afterwards If I missed these two details in the fine print I apologize.
