Beachfront with sea views in Walton on the Naze

Great location on sea front, fantastic view

Although perfectly useable the shower room could do with updating updating

The views were stunning and the location could not have been better. The apartment was well equipped and fresh milk was in the fridge.

The hallway was a bit tired, but we did not let us worry us.

Basic cleanliness and tasteful decoration were appreciated. The host made us welcome and the views are spectacular. Off road parking is available.

I found the fold up bed a little uncomfortable with a musty smell.

The bedding was of very poor quality. Decoration in bathroom needs attention, next to the shower. Decoration in living room needs to be repaired under the bay. Only one bedside table, despite space for two. Filthy windows, ruining the sea view. The door lock is very stiff, making the door hard to open; needs oiling. The toilet flush is hard to operate and needs tightening. The kitchen cupboards are full of personal items like paint pots. The wardrobe is full of boxes, leaving no space to hang dresses. A guest directory would be useful. There’s a very strong smell of smoke in the communal hallway. Some of the neighbours in the building made us feel uncomfortable. The pots and pans have seen better days; luckily we ate out. The cooker stands on its own, nothing to either side for hot dishes. The phone signal is very poor so wifi is badly needed.
