Beachfront with sea views in Walton on the Naze

Lovely location and view,dog beach 2minute walk,nice little pub 4 doors down,plenty of places to eat in/takeaway,parking on the front drive ,also opposite on the road,milk tea bags and coffee in the cupboard,we brought our own cos you dont normally get that so that was nice,I would stay again

Unfortunately the black bins dont get collected untill Monday morning so they was full to the brim as you walk by the frontdoor,they're used by the other residents aswell so that cant be helped,outside windows could do with a clean,bird droppings in my sunrise photos,I would have cleaned them but couldn't reach,apart from that it was very clean inside

It was in the perfect place, lovely clean and very welcoming

The location is great as is the parking outside

The bedding was of very poor quality. Decoration in bathroom needs attention, next to the shower. Decoration in living room needs to be repaired under the bay. Only one bedside table, despite space for two. Filthy windows, ruining the sea view. The door lock is very stiff, making the door hard to open; needs oiling. The toilet flush is hard to operate and needs tightening. The kitchen cupboards are full of personal items like paint pots. The wardrobe is full of boxes, leaving no space to hang dresses. A guest directory would be useful. There’s a very strong smell of smoke in the communal hallway. Some of the neighbours in the building made us feel uncomfortable. The pots and pans have seen better days; luckily we ate out. The cooker stands on its own, nothing to either side for hot dishes. The phone signal is very poor so wifi is badly needed.
