Review – Menuk’s Villa Menuk’s Villa is hosted by the most welcoming and open-hearted couple. From the very first day, you truly feel at home here. The residence has everything you need: air conditioning, a clean private bathroom, a full kitchen, washing machine, and a hot-water shower. The room is very clean, and there are lovely small terraces both from the kitchen and from the bedroom, perfect for relaxing among the trees. I stayed here for one full month and honestly felt like part of the family. Chamara and Menuka are incredibly helpful — whenever you need anything, they are always there with kindness and a smile. The village people are just as warm and heartfelt. It feels like gaining a new family, and the local atmosphere is authentic and full of soul. The location is excellent: close to Habaraduwa Road and only about a 15-minute walk to the beach. There are good restaurants nearby, yet the area remains calm and peaceful — surrounded by trees and close to the water, without being overly touristic. The villa is also conveniently close to both the railway and bus stations, making it very easy to travel to other places like Galle and Weligama. A truly special place with beautiful people — highly recommended.
