The gite exceeded our expectations fully. It was spacious, clean and well furnished, having everything we needed and more. The location is quite remote, which is just what we wanted, but only a short drive to nearby towns, shops and restaurants. Set amongst the trees it is so peaceful and tranquil. The only noise we could hear was the chirping of the cicadas and often saw wild deer in the gardens. We stayed during a very exceptional heatwave, in the 40s! The aircon downstairs was perfect and kept us lovely and cool.
No aircon upstairs so we slept downstairs on the settees, but as i said, this was during an exceptional heatwave and wouldn't normally have been a problem.

De rustig gelegen locatie, vlakbij het mooie Montignac en de grotten van Lascaux. De meeste bezienswaardigheden in de Dordogne zijn vanaf hier prima te bezoeken. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden.
