North Sydney Studio with Car Park AC

Did not provide adequate instructions about how to check in, before we arrived in Sydney. We sat in the car for over an hour, waiting for the instructions. One of the contact numbers was for an ex employee.

The facility was well located for my needs and the apartment was clean.

I travel frequently and hesitate to leave negative reviews, but my stay here was disappointing. Communication with the host was poor and responses were slow. Check-in instructions lacked a visible address, floor number (only a photo), and labeled keys, making it difficult to find my apartment in the dark. Using Booking’s “Get Directions” on my bookling confirmation led me to the street—not the building—so I had to find the street number on the instructions (hidden) on my phone in the dark on a busy Sydney road. I abandoned the parking gate and called it a night with street parking. The apartment sits beside a noisy road—earplugs are essential. It’s in an old building with long-term tenants and offers only basic amenities. There was leftover coffee but no milk or sugar, and the shower still held someone else’s soap and shampoo. I was also surprised to be responsible for taking out the trash as part of checkout, and even after I left, the host repeatedly checked whether I’d followed their instructions correctly. Overall, it served as a place to sleep, but the experience was far from pleasant.
