I don't remember a breakfast being available but I also didn't try to seek it out. The dinning area was cozy and classy.
The only thing I did not enjoy was the very squeaky stairs. I usually use the stairs instead of an elevator. I just prefer if the didn't announce my movements.

The unit I rented is directly above a cigar bar on the property. The unit smelled of cigars and when the cigar bar was open there was a haze of cigars and when smoke through the entire unit. Complaints made to host were ineffective.

The architecture and decor are just stunning. Our bed was super comfortable and our room (the Alps) was HUGE.

The property is super cute and great accommodations.
Nothing, it was great!

You'll be hard pressed to find a better value than this incredible place. We booked the Alps, which was the top floor and included two enormous bedrooms and a very nice bathroom. Absolutely incredible old architecture (a pocket door!)... stained glass windows... antique furniture... the beds were very comfortable!
It was on the cold side and only one of the rooms had a space heater, but the bedding was adequate to keep me warm. The steps in the staircase are extremely squeaky (understandable for such an old building) but it definitely made us self conscious when walking up our room after 11pm, as we didn't want to disturb other guests.

I like the location and the size of the room. I like the quick responses to my requests. They were very grateful people. The on site service was very professional!
The smell. The room had a musty smell that hit you every time you walked in the room. I also would recommend two things
1. put a trash can in the room and the bathroom - there was only one and it was in the bathroom.
2. In the Venice room the big dresser with the mirror was in the darkest corner with the fewest outlets - made it hard to do makeup and hair (since the bathroom had not counter there was no other place to put items when doing makeup or hair).

This place is a gem! The restaurant is beautiful! Our room was lovely with a four poster bed. It had a mini kitchen, table, trundle couch. So much room!
It is right downtown. Perfect location! Our room was lovely! Can't wait to come back!
Steps to the room. But I realize that can't be helped.
Nice view though!

Beautiful building in a cool neighborhood. The onsite restaurant was top notch. Bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows!

Great neighborhood. Clean and private.
No towel racks to hang wet towels. I’m also not fond of the digital check in. I like face to face contact.

The staff was attentive and friendly.
The bartender was great. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Greek Reference restaurant for breakfast next-door as well.
A higher pressure shower-head with a wand would be a nice improvement

Not only was the property beautiful, but the location was great as well. We were visiting for the weekend and attending the Steelers game on Sunday. The hotel is just a short walk to the stadium and the Rivers Casino. Our room was quiet and very private and we enjoyed the stay!
The only complaint I have is that there were a good amount of small ants in our room. The property is just off the courtyard, so I understand these things happen. But both mornings we woke up to ants in the bathroom and even found a few in our bed. The room was extremely clean and beautiful otherwise!

It's beautiful. Absolutely the most photogenic place I've stayed recently.
This isn't a hotel - it's a bunch of AirBNB rooms that happen to share a front door with a restaurant. I will never stay here again and I will warn people away because I do not support the decimation of the hospitality industry. I usually stay at Airbnbs, and for this trip I wanted to stay at a hotel. I wanted an experience of care and hospitality, and it's not here. I think the only time I even saw a staff person connected to the hotel, it was when I was checking out and someone said hi who didn't look like he worked at the restaurant. There is no hotel staff, no one available for questions, no one responds to or reads the only interaction you could possibly have - responding to their automated texts. Hotels have a hospitality staff focused on guests' experience. This is an airbnb above a restaurant with a busy, LOVELY, but restaurant-focused staff who are busy doing their actual jobs. Was it a good price for an AirBnb? Sure. Was it a good price for a hotel? No clue, I didn't stay in one.

The street was quiet, nice local bar and coffee shop nearby.
There was no one to ask questions, no food near by for late evening snack after the baseball game. Clawfoot bathtub with showerhead directed straight down in the center of the tub. Portable air conditioning. If anyone was talking even down the stairs you could hear them. It is a old renovated building. Pretty but just not my thing. Stairs creaked as you walked up like at your grandparents house.
Maybe I should have read more reviews and my expectations were different. Would of liked to be around more baseball fans and not walking alone there and back.

Love this place! Will definitely be coming back. Beautiful home with lots of character. The Calabria room was very cozy and unexpectedly large. In a nice spot in Pittsburgh. Was able to walk to Stage AE for a concert in 15 minutes. Walking distance from the Steelers stadium as well. Did not get a chance to try out the restaurant or bar, but looks like a must for next time. Would love to see all the rooms!

We love the charm and ease of the stay. We were in Pittsburgh for a concert and dinner and this was absolutely perfect for our quick trip. We will likely stay here again when in Pittsburgh.

It’s a lovely hotel appearance wise, and the check in was smooth and the bed comfortable.
No air conditioning in the room. August heat, an old house and while the windows opened, they had no screens. A ceiling fan and a stand up fan were provided, but it was an uncomfortable nights sleep.

The hotel was very unique, restaurant was not open the night we stayed, we walked to baseball stadium, got an uber back.
We stayed on the third floor, the air conditioning did not make it up that high, it was extremely warm up there, the lower floors seemed much cooler.Overall a nice place.

Beautiful building, wonderful neighborhood.
Advertised as air conditioned and it wasn’t at all. Very hot and uncomfortable. Steep stairs, not for elderly people. No screens in windows + a noisy street = no sleep.

The hotel felt very homey. It was clean and fresh. They texted instructions for entry to the room so it was contactless. The staff that I did come in contact with were very friendly. Eddy was very helpful. The area was very safe and I drive a nice car, so parking in a safe area overnight put my mind at ease.

We loved the location, as we were able to walk to PNC park and enjoy a local winery and restaurants within a block walking distance. The room (Sienna) was very quaint and beautifully furnished. Bed was comfortable and seating area was helpful.
The room (Sienna) was a little on the warm side. The area fan helped immensely and made it doable since it was not particularly hot during our visit. On a hotter day, it would have been more of an issue. We were also a little skeptical of the small round shower curtain. We made it work, but it seems that a wider oval ring would work better than the small circle. Restaurant was not open, although it is included in the property description.

The hotel was in a quiet out of the way location. However it was still nearby plenty of food and a nice cafe. Additionally it is within walking distance of the park that the Pittsburgh Aviary is in (definitely a recommended place to visit). The room and furniture was very classy and different from the normal bland hotel fair.
There was no breakfast or attached restaurant. In fact it looked like they were trying to train for or set up a new restaurant. The claim to have a restaurant is false. The room was up two long flights of stairs, it was fine for me, but definitely something to be aware of if you book a room. There is no one at the front desk at any time, meaning if you have an issue it can be difficult to resolve.

The hotel is new, and the restaurant isn't functioning yet. There are ample breakfast options nearby.
Nothing. The hotel has been stunningly renovated. The rooms are enormous, as are the beds.
The room's entrance hallway could have a brighter light--it's a bit dark when you come in.

Old style house was fun to stay in and the work to prepare the house was very well done.
The communication about where to park could have been more detailed. There is definitely adequate parking however a guest would not know that until arrival.
