Casa Basilia

Beautiful traditional feeling property but with all modern day requirements. Set in the picturesque backstreets this apartment is a perfect place to explore Granada albeit it has to be said it is somewhat of a climb from the centre of town and not to be attended with anything other than light luggage. That said there are several benefits, the quaint backstreets and plazas are free from the crowds and there is an amazing view of the Alhambra from the shared terrace at the top of the property. Communications prior to our arrival were excellent and some welcome food and drink items waiting for us in our room. All in all a great place to stay with the only negative being the walk back from town which could be tedious you stay for a number of days.

The apartment is beautiful, the bathroom is gorgeous. It's located in the beautiful historic Albaicin area, so beware of lots of beautiful but hilly cobblestone paths. (wear flats for best comfort). It's amazing to watch cars and buses get through the narrow streets. Plenty of oppotunities for picturesque photos while navigating the cobbled streets.

Unfortunately there was an internet problem in the area during our stay which wasn't ideal but not the end of the world either. We wern't fully prepared with our research of the area before arriving and were relying on the apartments wifi, so lesson learned do the research beforehand.
