Spectacular Alhambra view roof terrace penthouse

Location good

Not acceptable with car drove round and round and then paid parking

Nacho was available to meet me for early check in. While he was preparing my apartment, he let me use another apartment in the building so that I could connect to the WIFI and get some remote work done. Nacho was very helpful with getting me set up in the apartment and with suggestions on what to do in the area. The location was perfect, situated in the Albaicin neighborhood. Easy walking distance to the Alhambra and Generalife, the central market, the cathedral, and other sites. The apartment was exactly as advertised, with amazing views of the Alhambra. WIFI was good for doing remote work.

The location is great and having a deck with a view over the city was a real bonus. It is spacious and was renovated in classic Spanish style. The host was very quick to answer any queries and was very helpful. He even provided my wife with an iron when she requested it.

The bed is located on a platform just under the roof with a steep staircase to get up to it. The photo does not accurately show how close the bed is to the ceiling. One side of the bed is about a metre from the ceiling so it is very difficult for the person sleeping there to not disturb the other person when getting in and out of bed. This might not suit older people or any one with any sort of mobility issue. Also the apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator but this is to be expected in a character building such as this.
