Charming troglodyte near Amboise

Very unique and peaceful in its setting and very well equipped for a longer stay. Tasteful decoration Fantastic location for exploring the Loire Valley. Lovely host.

Whilst cool in the heat there was an uncomfortable damp smell especially difficult for anyone with respiratory issues

Staying in this beautiful troglodyte house was such a unique and wonderful experience. We arrived during very hot weather, yet it stayed naturally cool and comfortable inside. It was probably the most special place we stayed in during our trip to France. The house is beautifully and tastefully designed, with so many charming and thoughtful details. At the same time, it is very comfortable, clean and practical. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare meals. We especially enjoyed having our meals outside in the lovely garden. The peaceful countryside atmosphere is truly magical , and we genuinely wished we had stayed for another night. Communication with Claire was easy and pleasant.

One small thing to be aware of: the house and its beautifully maintained garden are located behind another house that appears to be unoccupied, so it can be a little easy to miss the entrance when you first arrive.

Ideaal bij warm weer. Zeer ruim ingericht.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement troglodyte, a la fois original et confortable, très bien équipé et décoré avec gout , idéalement situé pour découvrir la région autour d'Amboise .
