Perfect location for your trip to CDMX. Easily accessible and friendly staff.

The property was close to everything and it was easily accessible via uber / taxi. There was always someone there at the front desk. The room had a small terrace that was away from people and could be used at your own discretion.

2 things. One, the pillow was way to soft and they only provided one. Two, sometimes the housekeeping staff would tidy up the rooms very late sometimes needed to enter after 5/6pm.

Decent hotel but am

Clean and well located hotel with well equipped rooms. Staff were very friendly.

The room was so small that it was hard to move about even with just two of us. The lighting wasn’t great and there was only a noisy fan for temperature control. The only window was a sliding door to a courtyard so you couldn’t get air into the room. The strong fragrance used in the reception area could be unpleasant though it was fine in the room.

Nice stay in CDMX

This hotel was a great place to stay in CDMX. It was close to many cafes andright by the city bike rentals. The hotel is clean, the internet worked well, and the staff were nice!

There was a mix up with the room we booked online and the room we got at check in, but they were able to change the rooms for us quickly the next day. You do need to ask for extra coffee pods, they do not replenish them each day.

Gorgeous room in the heart of Condesa

I honestly had no complaints. The building is very well maintained, and the entrance is staffed at all times—though there can be brief delays if staff are assisting guests upstairs. My room was impeccably clean, and the towels were a real highlight; whatever detergent they use makes them smell absolutely gorgeous. There was always plenty of hot water, and the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner provided were good quality. My room also included an iron and ironing board, plus a safe (which I’ll admit I couldn’t quite figure out!). There was an air-conditioning unit that only blew cold air—fine for warmer months, but on a few slightly chilly November nights, some heating would have been welcome. The location is excellent, with bars and restaurants within easy reach. The mini-fridge was a lifesaver, and although I didn’t use the coffee machine, it was a nice touch.

The TV seemed set up mainly for Netflix or Prime, and didn’t offer local Mexican channels or international news like CNN—only a finance-focused station. As a solo traveller who doesn’t go out much at night, having more TV options would have been appreciated. There is a rail to hang clothes, but hangers are limited, so bringing a few extra may help. Storage space overall is a bit tight. Sound carries quite easily, and as a light sleeper, I did notice early-morning staff movement and late-night guest returns; earplugs are a good idea, especially for ground-floor rooms. The room itself is small, and I had to keep my suitcase under the bathroom sink area. These negatives are minor, however, and I would still highly recommend Casa Castillo Condesa.

Great place, definitely book!

We had a great stay. The staff here are so lovely, there is always a staff member there. They allowed us to store our bags for a whole day after we checked out. The room was clean, comfy with a great balcony! Great area. Would really recommend this place!

So good I want to keep it quiet!

I ABSOLUTELY loved my stay so much I stayed longer than planned and will return again! The staff was exceptional, helpful, caring, amable, servicial, in any language they take the prize! I felt so safe walking around during the day and night. The place is very well located, it's super clean, well kept, they even have a conference room in the terrace. My rooms had a small terrace where I could sit out and unwind.

My only observation is that the sound resonates a lot so it can be loud while we come and go. Fortunately, they provide ear plugs and the guests are respectful so once the day settles it's quiet and very comfortable throughout the night.

Good quality place, simple yet confortable

I liked my room (on the first floor), quiet street, so I could sleep well (and they give you earplugs). I appreciated the water and coffee, change of towels every day. The area of Consesa is the best hood. The staff was nice, the bed was good, and I enjoyed having a little balcony.

They charge 30 MXN per capsule if you want to take coffee again (they provide two capsules). It should be offered.

Beautiful, small, comfy and gorgeous hotel in the heart of La Condesa - perfect for solo female travellers

Super clean and comfortable space, it had everything I needed for a short stay in Mexico City. The staff were kind and hospitable, and the location was exceptional and safe. Close to shops, restaurants, and bars.

I was placed in room 6 (Michoacan) on the ground floor at the front of the hotel, which meant I was close to the reception area - although this was safe and ideal for me as I was a solo female traveller, it meant that I could hear noise from the lobby almost every night in the early hours of the morning, as well as from outside the street.

We visit Condesa once a year and will not be returning to this place again.

Pros: Location. The place is a very clean and well-designed place with marble floors. The staff are very nice.

We had a bad experience at first, we had a room reserved on the first floor, once we were settled in that room (Tamaulipas) they told us we had to move to another room on the third floor, keepind in mind that we are senior citizens, with heavy luggage and the place has no elevators. Even though we had the reservation for months. The reason they gave us was that whoever had been there the day before hadn't paid their bill... I told them it was a reason that made no sense in any country in the world. Also, if they moved me to the third floor, I'd be staying at another hotel... In the end, they put us in another room with a window facing the street on the first floor... When I opened the windows, because they didn't have air conditioning, I could hear the conversations of people walking by on the street. The ceiling fan was also noisy and kept us from sleeping. And to continue the nightmare, they have terrible Wi-Fi. I needed to upload and download files and had to stay up late a few nights to do so because of their slow Wi-Fi. Cons: The rooms are cramped; they're good for one person, not for a couple. And if you need good Wi-Fi, I don't recommend this place.

The host sent a clear message re: entrance instructions, including entering room and wifi

we made use of most of the room amenities, ie the coffee, nespresso machine, fridge, heater, floor fan, iron. chairs for the table would have been nice to eat in the room but we ate outside in the hallway which was fine. didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone. on the last day, we explored the other floors and discovered a communal area w tables, would have been great to have known about that sooner to make use of it during our stay.

A pleasant stay in a modern and clean hotel.

The hotel was very clean, modern, and well maintained daily. It’s well located in La Condesa and is on a quiet street. The bed is comfortable and the staff is very friendly.

There was work being done in the shared courtyard (potting new plants) space that went a little late one night (9pm), the rain probably delayed the completion that day.

Acomodação não acessível. Quartos em andares altos nos quais somente se chega por escadas, exigindo transportar a bagagem escada acima independentemente do peso ou das condições físicas do hóspede. A porta da frente está sempre trancada e os hóspedes não têm acesso autônomo, exigindo aguardar um funcionário para abrir.

Schöne Unterkunft

Sehr schöne Unterkunft im Stadtteil Condesa. Viele nette Cafés im direkten Umfeld und auch die Innenstadt ist mit der U-Bahn oder dem Taxi schnell erreichbar.

Die Zimmertür war nicht sehr schalldicht. Wir wohnten im Erdgeschoss in der Nähe zur Rezeption, sodass wir vormittags immer mitbekamen, wenn Gäste kamen oder gingen.

Het was oké, voor 2 nachten, maar ik zou het niet weer boeken.

De locatie was echt super

Het was erg klein, weinig licht inval in de kamer en super gehorig, hebben 2 nachten slecht geslapen. Wellicht maakt het uit welke kamer je toebedeeld krijgt. Wij zaten op de bagage grond naast de receptie. De deur naar buiten maakt op zichzelf al veel lawaai. Ook hoor je mensen bij de receptie erg goed praten. Hierdoor zijn we vaak wakker geworden, door laat incheckende mensen. Mensen die laat thuiskomen en vroeg vertrekken.

La zona es la mejor para hospedarse de CDMX, Barrio tranquilo con sitios ricos para salir y no muy lejos del centro en taxi La habitación era sencilla pero tenía armario, TV grande, ventilador y el baño era grande

Terrible si te quedas en la planta baja entra la luz de recepción tooooda la noche Tiene una terraza pero que da literal al pasillo de recepción entonces no te llama a usarla

Excelente ubicación, gran servicio del staff y muy buen precio.

Todo me gustó! Solo incluiría los siguientes detalles para que la experiencia sea más cómoda: -Incluir tapete de baño (del mismo juego de toallas) para secarse los pies al momento de salir de la regadera. -Incluir jabón líquido corporal ya que en la regadera solo había shampoo y acondicionador. En el lavabo solo había jabón líquido de manos y crema corporal. -Sería un súper plus surtir las cápsulas nespresso todos los días jeje. -Revisar la caja fuerte de la habitación ya que no funcionaba. -Incluir almohadas extras.
