Agave Residence House 13

Nice view, nice breakfast, nice staff. The stay happened without issue.

On booking.com, it is specifically written 'pet stay' not added charge will be asked. But an additional charge was still added for 1 dog.

Ήταν πραγματικά όλα τόσο προσεγμένα,είχαν μεριμνήσει για όλα! Πεντακάθαρα και το σπίτι πολύ ιδιαίτερο με μια θεά που δεν θες να φύγεις.... εμείς πήγαμε το μεσημέρι με σκοπό να πάμε στα σασι και τελικά δεν φύγαμε περάσαμε εκεί το απόγευμα μας παίζοντας σκάκι, γιατί ναι,είχε και σκάκι!μπράβο τους!

Pomarico è stata l'ultima tappa del nostro viaggio in Basilicata, la ciliegina sulla torta! Antonello era sulla porta ad aspettarci e lo è stato ogni mattina per portarci una coccola, una battuta simpatica e la sua disponibilità, come un familiare tra i più amorevoli. Questa casa è un piccolo confetto in cui tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, per non far mancare nulla ai suoi ospiti. La vista da questo piccolo angolo di felicità è strepitosa, ma non ci sono panorami che possano eguagliare la gentilezza, l'empatia e la visione illuminata di accoglienza che hanno Antonello e Stefania. la cornice più bella di un immaginario dipinto di viaggio che ci porteremo a casa e nel cuore... Grazie davvero, siete stati eccezionali! Evelin, Marco e Eros P. S. Vi aspettiamo a Rovigo con molto piacere!

Assolutamente nulla!

The accomodation is in a lovely village, hopefully some of the empty houses in the village get new owners (the village definately deserves it). The view from the terras is absolutely wonderfull and the house is nicely decorated. The point of improvement concerning the WiFi which was mentioned in reviews was improved (allthough the speed was limited, but for normal stuff sufficient). The village has some good bakeries and places to buy cheese and salami etc., a good pizzeria and some good restaurants (some within walking distance from Agave house 13).

I'm sorry to say our stay at Agave house 13 did not meet our expectations. We stayed here at the end of Octobre 2025 (low season) for 6 nights and paid € 115 per night, which was the most expensive of all the places we stayed during our trip. When we booked, the rating was 9.7, which made us expect an almost perfect accomodation. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out like we expected, although the hosts were friendly. The biggest disappointment was "breakfast" which was included (one of the conditions I used when looking for accomodation). The owner explained he wasn't allowed to serve fresh food, so what was offered were long-lasting prepackaged croissants and the like, not what we call breakfast and not what we expected. At all the other places we stayed, breakfast was very good (bread, cheese, muesli, ham, cakes etc. etc.). I understand the owner respects the law, but then it is better to offer it without breakfast (and at a lower rate). Other points that could be improved: a kettle or water boiler in the kitchen, some more types of tableware (e.g. bowls for yoghurt), a higher quality mattress (I know what kind of mattress one likes is very personal, but the one we slept on was very basic (not old though)) and higher quality bed linen that (I think that the last nights we had something synthetic instead of cotton that breathes). The geyser is probably used by nr 13 en nr 12 (and the utility room), so when you shower the amount of water depends on whether others are using it as well. One last thing: on our last day the guests from the appartment downstairs suddenly shared "our" terras. In the Booking ad it stated that we had the privacy of the whole house, so we were kind of suprised. We wish the owners all the best. They started earlier in 2025, so the points above might be theething problems.
