The house is nicely renovated and very private. It has good quality kitchen appliances (although I wasn't sure how to use them all) and a very well stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking equipment/ crockery/cutlery etc.. It is in a very quiet village location 5 minute walk from a public outdoor swimming pool (open mid June to mid September).

No air con or fans in the house and we were there for a week during a heatwave and it was very difficult to sleep so we spent two nights in a hotel (it could easily have been more nights) so this was added expense. The house was uncomfortably warm all day and night. I know it was a heatwave but it was the third in France that year and so a fan may have helped and could have been bought prior to the heatwave we experienced. The property is advertised as having a washing machine but this is wrong as there is NO washing machine. I would not have booked this property for a week if I had known there was no washing machine. There is no free kitchen cupboard to store food as all the cupboards are full of equipment.
