The very best thing was the warmth of the welcome from the outside concierge/porter, and his generously helpful attitude. The complex have a diamond there. I hope they realise it.The place was very clean, modern and well appointed and comfortable, with great views of the bay through floor to ceiling windows and a balcony, , with an onsite restaurant - but we ate in the wonderful Soul Bowl at Citadines Marina Halong, a short walk away. Check in and out were straightforward. The beach was quite clean with some interesting sculptures and other features

The complex receptionist needed to take some hospitality and welcome instructions from the outside concierge/porter and be warmer and more welcoming - the same could be said for some of the staff at breakfast too. The whole area is a mass of development and will be unrecognisable in the future - for good or ill I can't tell - but it didn't really affect our stay.
