Downtown Luxury Full Burj Khalifa & Fountain Views - 4 Minutes Walk to Dubai Mall

The location provides great views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai City.

3pm is too late to access your room. I arrived at Dubai Mall at around 9am and dropped off my luggage. My phone had very little charge left (I did not know that you could borrow a power bank from the Mall), so I thought I could quickly call to get directions to cover the advertised 4 minute walk. When I called to get directions, I was told to ask a security guard at the mall. However, all the guards are foreign and despite repeatedly calling for better directions was told the same thing. I wasted another 1.5 hours walking. I really wanted to get into the shower but there was no instructions saying that if you want a hot shower, you need to leave the water heater on for quite a while, I had to have a cold shower. 3rd problem, the door locks when you leave the apartment but when you are inside, there seems no way to lock the door. When I asked the caretaker about he just said "It is OK, everything is on camera" - sorry but a camera is only of use after something has happened. When I rent an apartment, I want to know that the door is locked when I am inside. I don't care if it is a safe country, I want to know the door is locked. The apartment next door always had the door slightly open ? These three issues mean I cannot give a five star review :- 1) Terrible attempt at giving any useful instructions when my phone could not be used (there seems to be an assumption that all guests will have a working phone as there is no useful back up if you don't). 2} Shower temperature - Suggestion - Could the cleaner of caretaker not have switched on the water heater so that the new guest that has been requested to kill 6 hours in the mall, plus another 1.5 hours due to trying to find the place could have a hot shower when they arrive ? 3) If I were a single woman travelling alone, I would really not be happy about the door not locking from the inside.

Großes geräumiges Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern, direkt neben dem Burj Khalifa. Ich war im 46. Stock untergebrachte und bekam nie genug von der atemberaubenden Aussicht auf das höchste Gebäude der Welt, die Dubai Mall und die Fontänen. Auch wenn diese bis Ende Oktober renoviert werden, war es ein grandioser Aufenthalt. Ich hatte einen direkten Ansprechpartner per WhatsApp, der alles für mich geklärt hat. Ich werde dieses Apartment ganz gewiss wieder buchen und meine Family mitnehmen.
