This is a super small hotel, immaculate comfortable rooms, in the middle of a pretty Devon village

A lovely comfortable stay

A friendly and comfortable small hotel, right in the centre of the village, where we were made to feel very welcome. Continental breakfast was excellent (fresh warm pastries!) and our room was spacious with a lovely shower.

Amazing hotel and look forward to staying again

We loved our stay, lovely rooms with all you need, spotless and the most comfortable beds. Great location for exploring E Devon, helpful friendly staff and good continental breakfast included in the price. Also loved meeting all the friendly locals in the bar.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome at very short notice.

The bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms were newly and thoughtfully decorated with quality fittings, linens and soft furnishings. The village centre location was excellent and allowed for morning and evening walks, local dining and access to river walks nearby.

The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard. A continental breakfast was included - also good quality. The team were friendly and helpful. Located in the town centre, conveniently next to the main car park. Overall, good value for money.

Stayed a couple of nights in this comfortable newly renovated hotel, enjoyed the experience.

Stayed in one of the larger double rooms, very comfortable. Dined in the newly opened restaurant which we enjoyed. The included Continental breakfast included an array of options including fresh fruit, muesli, yogurt which I had, all good quality.

Colyton's historic building turned into 5* hospitality

What an unexpected surprise! Not going to lie, the lack of other available options along the Jurassic Coast took us on an hour detour to Colyton - and so happy it did! Everything is literally brand new and meticulously decorated. Genuine and warm hospitality, led by the incredible manager Sarah!

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff/owners. Extremely comfortable bed and great shower. Also the room was more interesting than you get in most hotels. Breakfast was lovely!

Literally the only thing that would have improved the experience would have been a fan in the room as we came on a hot day, but to be fair I didn't ask if there was one available.

It was wonderful for country side holiday !

The hotel is stunningly stylish in every aspect and has been recently renovated. The bathroom and room were exceptionally clean. The in-room amenities like the TV, complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies offer a delightful sense of relaxation after a long day. The hotel bar is also very enjoyable, and I won’t even begin to describe the amazing cakes and coffee you can enjoy on the terrace—they’re simply wonderful. The warm welcome from the hotel manager upon arrival, and the same heartfelt farewell, made the stay truly unforgettable. Oh, and I almost forgot—there’s a car park right next to the hotel. Just leave your car there and immerse yourself in the breathtaking countryside nature.
