When I arrived at Kandy, Mr. Macwod offered me to pick me up to Urban Lodge for free. It was so helpful after long bus ride. Also free water service and free breakfast were wonderful. Every day, I enjoyed Sri Lanka style breakfast to fulfill my stomach. Staffs are very friendly and kind and I was very comfortable to stay. This area is quiet and peaceful to sleep at night.
I booked a room with air conditioner but I couldn't get it because of booking. com's price offer as Mr. Macwod told me. I didn't understand it but it was okay with fan during my stay because of cool weather. I hope that I could use hot water shower.

When I got there, I felt a bit unsure at first but was upgraded to another room which was exactly what I was looking for. The guys there were really lovely - I needed the wifi quite a bit and they were able to accommodate this; even after I checked out as well.
The first room I booked didn’t feel too appealing. It would have been nice if there was more community areas to hang out in. The pics in the photos with the water are not directly at the property - I was taken there for breakfast. A little misleading.
