The Kandyan Legends

Very comfortable room with airconditioning and a fan and lovely furniture. Very lovely garden! Amazing accommodating host! Great big house with plenty of common space that you can use! Good breakfast, especially the eggs..!! Ask for a baked egg, Priyantha makes them amazingly! We ended up really liking Kandy, it was too busy for us, but didn’t regret booking this homestay because it was a bit out of the city and very green and quiet. We felt at home. First shower in Sri Lanka that had hot water!! So nice and luxurious hihi. The food was basic but good. Host also drove us to the city for a reasonable price.

Communication wasn’t very good with our host; he did not respond to messages on booking and whatsapp prior to our arrival, which was a bit confusing. We felt he didn’t know we were arriving, so we were first given a smaller room which was nice but bathroom was not very clean. But the next two nights he gave us a bigger, nicer room and had time to clean the bathroom! So all was resolved. Sometimes some miscommunications because of his English, but it did not make our stay any less enjoyable! Thank you Priyantha!

Tolle Lage mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Etwas abgelegen aber mit dem TukTuk ist das kein Problem. Super freundliches Personal. Große Zimmer.

Naprosto úžasné ubytování. Cítili jsme se zde jako doma. Hostitel je velmi milý a vstřícný. Měli jsme variantu s polopenzí a dostali jsme naprosto vynikající večeři a výtečnou snídani. Ubytování nabízí naprosto úchvatný výhled do údolí. Postele jsou pohodlné a pokoj je velmi velký a čistý. Doporučuji.

Location is good. Rooms are good.
