About this apartment rental
Lisbon, in the heart of the historic and popular Mouraria district, let yourself be captivated by the charm of this lovely duplex, newly renovated while respecting its "original trace." On the 5th floor of a century-old building, without an elevator, it will be like climbing a lighthouse. The view is magnificent. It is composed of a living space with a small American kitchen and a mezzanine bedroom for 1 or 2 people. A few minutes from Rossio Square, the Castle, Chiado, and Baixa. Overly bulky luggage is not recommended. The stairs are quite steep, so it is only recommended for young couples or people in good shape. During the month of June, there are the Lisbon Festivals, and there are open-air dance halls and popular dance halls livening up the evenings down the street.

You can’t ask for a more perfect location. Right in the middle of the old town, restaurants and bars right outside the front door and beautiful views through the window. The stairs are absolutely not for the faint hearted, and we got a bit turned around by the listing location (ignore the details on the listing and just follow the host’s instructions). The amenities were great, it was nice and cosy. It’s a very intimate space so don’t come with someone you’re not super close with. The tap and the toilet could also do with a bit more upkeep/maintenance, but weren’t enough to interfere with the charm of the place.I’d happily come back and stay here on my next visit to Lisbon.

The property owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Very quick to respond to anything I asked and informed them due to trip issues. It’s not too far from Sao Jorge Castle as well a view of it from the room. The only issue I had that it was at the top of the building. It has narrow staircase that does make it difficulty with luggage transport. I do think the cost could be lower since its location in the building.

My friend and I had a nice stay in this Lisbon apartment. The apartment is small but functional and equipped with everything needed for a few days vacation.
