About this apartment rental
Sunny Terrace on first floor apartment at a charming ensemble of small residential buildings called Vila Berta, at Graça district.
From Grace you have the best view of the city, the castle and the river.
The apartment, the street Vila Berta and the district Grace are all part of a warm and welcoming environment where you will feel at home. The apartment is lightly decorated, well equipped and comfortable. Neighbors are friendly and the street is very quiet. The main square is near and there is almost everything you need. As you walk through the streets of Grace you will discover the discreet charm of this particular district.
Guests have full access to the whole apartment:
1 room with window, double bed
1 double mattress at mezzanine over the living room
1 sofa bed in the living room
1 WC with shower
Living room with window and terrace to the street. Enjoy terrace at breakfast and at sunset
Kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and small appliances
TV and Wi-fi

In June there is a traditional party on the street, with music and dancing, sardines and beer for 9 days. During this period Vila Berta will not be the usual very quiet street ... You might enjoy the privilege of watching the party from the balcony at night and sleep during the morning ...
Vila Berta is a rare and proud remain of the many villages that housed the working class families at Grace (reads grassa) one century ago. It is now a very quiet street on a friendly neighborhood. Grace district stands on a high hill within the old Lisbon limits. From here you have a very good perspective of the city, the castle and the river.

Well served restaurants, coffee shops, esplanades. Also groceries, bakeries, pharmacies, bank, hairdresser, shoemaker, paper shop, transport ticket shop, supermarket, newspaper kiosk
Near flea market (Tuesdays and Saturdays morning)
Near monuments (convents, castle)
Discover Alfama and Mouraria, the mourish narrow streets, on your way downtown. Be enlightened by the light that shines in Lisbon.
Street parking (paid).
Near buses 734, 712 and tram 28. Taxi stop at the near square
Walking distance to downtown and historic area.
Walking distance to transports within the city and to outskirts (Cascais, Sintra, Caparica)
From airport:
Option 1 - taxi, 6 Kms, 20 min
Option 2 - Aerobus to Martim Moniz + bus 734 or tram 28 to Grace
Option 3 - metro green line to Intendente + bus 734 or tram 28 to Grace
Option 4 - metro blue line to Santa Apolónia + bus 734 or 712 to Graça
Before using public transports buy prepaid ticket at metro station

Our stay was amazing! It was a nice quiet part of town, and the porch was beautiful. Very central to everything we wanted to see.

We had a fabulous 5 day trip to Lisbon staying at Andre’s house. The apartment is in a very quiet residential street in Graca but is within very easy walking distance to nice restaurants and cafes. Christina was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. The apartment was as described and was very comfortable. The area is very safe and there is a tram stop not far from the apartment for when you don’t fancy tackling the hills. All in all a brilliant trip and I will definitely recommend Andre’s House to friends and family visiting Lisbon
