About this house rental
Welcome to Our Happy Place on Palm Island! This is a classic 2 bedroom home with a private pool located on Kettle Harbor and only a few minutes to the beach on the Gulf! The private dock faces west and has stunning sunsets. The water on Kettle Harbor is perfect for bringing a boat with access to the ICW only a few minutes away! The main living space has an updated kitchen with stainless appliances and counter seating for 4 . The spacious living room has leather sofas and a large smart TV. The fireplace is not operational. The master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and bathroom. There is a stackable washer/ dryer.
Outside on this level is a spacious west facing screened in lanai with a gas grill and stunning sunsets!. This home has beautiful hardwood floors throughout and a great casual vibe!
On the ground level is beautiful private pool , another grill and fire pit area. The dock is private and can accomodate a boat in the 20-25foot range. The boat lift is not available. From this dock, the ICW is only a few minutes away with no bridges to go under!
Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit.
Pet Policy: This home is Pet Friendly home. This means that ONE dog is permitted to stay at the rental. No cats are permitted in any of our properties. Certain aggressive breeds as designated by the State of Florida and outlined in our rental contract are not permitted. No exceptions will be made to this policy. There IS a charge to heat the pool due to island cost/Pool Heat Fee is $100.00/week. Please let us know you'd like it heated when you book!

Truly a "Happy Place" Great location!, very clean, the pool and dock for our boat was perfect! Just a short boat ride to Bocca Sand Bar and Stump Pass.The Home itself was set up very nicely for the four of us. I would definitely rent this place again.Also Property Manager was great!
