About this house rental
Mellow Yellow is the ultimate 3 bedroom beach house located on Kettle Harbor! This home is a Key West style home with fantastic outdoor spaces. A resort style private pool, shared dock and boat ramp and large cabana with gas grill for outdoor entertaining! Inside is a beautifully upgraded home with 2 master bedrooms (Kings) , each with en suites . The 3rd bedroom is located on ground level just off the pool area and has a half bath and 2 twin beds.The kitchen and grand room are finished in ceramic wood tile, stainless steel appliances and great lighting. Flat screen televisions in each master bedroom and living room.
Laundry room has full size washer and dryer.
Located on Kettle Harbor, this home has great boating access with no bridges to the ICW.
Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip. For more information on the ferry, google Palm Island Transit. PLEASE RESPECT THAT THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED . There IS a charge to heat the pool due to island cost/Pool Heat Fee is $100.00/week. Please let us know you'd like it heated when you book!

House well stocked, very clean, good communication with the rental company, it's absolutely necessary to rent the golf cart, island is buitiful,make sure to have bug spray!

Very nice place.. Pool was great. Lots of steps. Very quite neighborhood. Recommend Gulf Cart rental for exploring island and going to beach. Unit well equiped.

This property was beautiful and clean. The pool area is awesome! We loved staying there and would do it again. We have a family of 4 so we were all able to stay upstairs. My boys originally wanted to stay in the basement area but after spending time down there decided it was too musty smelling to stay. I would highly recommend this property to any family of 4 or 5 but would not recommend the extra two beds in the basement.

Several things in the home needed the attention of the property manager and emails were never answered to see if they followed up. We had a boat and this location was too far up the channel to get to our fish spots in a timely manner. Too many no wake zones. If we were just planning on staying at the house it would have been fine. The pool was nice and there was plenty of outdoor space for relaxing.
