Welcome to Hideout Machans—your freshly renovated tropical retreat that blends coastal charm with clean, modern comfort.
Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to give you a relaxed, beachy atmosphere with a stylish edge.
Step inside to find a bright, airy space with soft neutral tones, timber accents, and natural textures that bring the outdoors in.
The home is fully equipped for a carefree stay, featuring blockout curtains, brand-new air conditioning, and quality finishes.
You’ll sleep soundly in one of the two cozy bedrooms—one with a king-sized bed, the other with a queen—both styled with calming tones and comfortable linen.
There are two beautiful bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a deep soaking tub—perfect for unwinding after a day in the tropics.
The open-plan living space invites you to return to the comfy, coastal-inspired sofa.
The high-speed Wi-Fi will keep you connected whether you're streaming your favourite show or planning your next adventure.
The kitchen is fresh and functional, with a microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and all the essentials for enjoying meals at home. A washing machine and clothesline are also included for convenience.
Outside, the large, fully fenced yard is child—and pet-friendly, with space to relax and unwind.
Fire the BBQ, enjoy dinner under the stars, and soak up the easygoing vibes.
There’s plenty of off-street parking, so coming and going is simple.

Only 550m to the Esplanade - 7 minutes walk.
Only 10 minutes from Cairns CBD and the airport, it’s the perfect base for exploring Far North Queensland.
Spend your days fishing or enjoying long walks by the water.
Grab a coffee at the popular local café or unwind at sunset with the beach just steps away.
Public transport is nearby, but having a car will give you easy access to Cairns attractions, the Esplanade, Botanic Gardens, and northern beaches.

* Please keep noise and music to a minimum after 9:00 PM.
* Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
* Daily cleaning is not included, allowing you to enjoy full privacy during your stay.
* We are unable to offer luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. We recommend planning accordingly or using local luggage storage services if needed.
* A starter pack of essentials is provided, including tea, coffee, toiletries, and basic supplies. For longer stays, guests may wish to top up these items as needed
Mid-Stay Cleans
Mid-stay cleans are available on request for an additional fee and are ideal for longer stays.
For stays longer than 14 nights, a mid-stay clean and linen change are mandatory to help maintain the property. An additional fee of $159 per service applies.

I loved this place. It was quiet, clean and felt close enough to the Esplanade but far enough from the busy CBD. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely book again. A friend and I were able to grab public transport a quick walk from the house with made exploring Cairns much easier.

I loved the pet friendly yard, the pool was good. Each of the bedrooms were very private with their own bathroom. The couch in the lounge room was the most comfortable piece of furniture I have ever curled up on. A short walk away from the Esplanade and a pet friendly Cafe called Mayhem at Machans.

The house is clean and comfortable with beautiful decor and space. The kitchen had all the appliances for cooking. The host Isabel was kind and responsive to our quiry. It is dog friendly. We had a fantastic stay with our two dogs. Value for money and highly recommended.
