Location Zagora MGHouse is located at the historic village of Zagora in Pelio. Zagora is one hour away from Volos city and just 20 minutes near the ski resort in Chania. Travelling through the mythical mountain of Centaurs, you will arrive at a beautiful, cosy, little place, the Margarita guest house, which will fascinate you with its breathtaking view of the mighty blue of Aegean sea! This is a destination which has a lot to offer to its guests during all four seasons of the year; it's an ideal place for mountain and sea lovers, offering one of a kind holidays experience to its guests. House description Margarita guest house is located at Agia Paraskevi, the first district of Zagora. It's a traditional and cosy, 50 sq.m., two storey house with great views to mountain and sea. There's the master bedroom (double bed) with a closet and a fireplace, another bedroom (bunk bed), the living room with a fireplace, kitchen, one shower room and a balcony. Our guests can make use of all rooms, facilities and appliances (oven, hobs, fridge, kettle, dehumidifier, hair dryer, heater, travel cot, iron, mini barbecue coal set). Local information Greek tavernas, restaurants and cafes are a must if you want to enjoy the experience of greek traditional recipes, the famous souvlaki, gyros and so much more!!! You will find some of them at Agios Georgios and Agia Kyriaki traditional squares. Don't forget to visit the agricultural co-op shop with a big variety of handmade (by the women of Zagora) delicacies, sweet preserves, jams, tray baked desserts, liqueurs, nibbles, tsipouro (local drink similar to ouzo) and so much more... Find out more You might be interested in visiting the Greek museum - Rigas Feraios' historical school in Zagora as well as the Public Historic Library where you can see handwritten books, documents and other historic relics. Recommended Swimming and sunbathing at the organised bays of Chorefto, Agioi Saranta, Agios Ioannis Plaka and Papa Nero, also a bit further away the bays of Damouchari (Mama Mia) and Mylopotamos will be an experience you will never forget!
