This ground-level condo gives you a front-row seat to the frolicking whales and lively waves from a basalt cliff at Depoe Bay, bringing you a daily show of wheeling seagulls, a parade of boats and whales, and astonishing sunsets. With two sumptuous bedrooms, one a queen suite, Whales and Waves is a wonderful space for a small family or two couples. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area are great for eating in, but you’re also a short walk to dining at Tidal Raves and many other restaurants in downtown Depoe Bay. Four swivel club chairs let you watch the surf and the condo’s Smart TV, or you can relax with guests on a sofa and look out the bay window of the living room to the sparkling sea. Step outside to your covered patio for ocean breezes and sun; a promenade takes you along the fantastic shoreline for better views of whales feeding in the kelp forests off the rocks.
Walk to Pirate’s Cove to see harbor seals and seabirds nesting, grab a cup at Pirate’s Coffee, and continue your trek to the dramatic seawall of Depoe Bay. Browse the shops, grab lunch, or head to the harbor to catch a whale-watching or fishing boat to the ocean. When you’re ready to rest and relax after a day exploring, a magnificent sunset will draw you out on the patio. "Had issues with shower doors and leaking bathtub facet. Maintenance man (Jein) was fantastic and solved both issues. Upstairs guests were heavy footed which was annoying. Kitchen was well appointed. "
