It is located right across the street from Villas Pico Bonito, which is handy for organizing activites/tours as well as enjoying their facilities (restaurant, infinity pool, etc.). The view of the waterfall is spectacular and the jungle setting is beautiful. The host was responsive and assisted in helping to organize a transfer from the La Ceiba ferry terminal to the property.
The place is quite rustic. It is priced accurately and I should have realized that. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the jungle lodges, this is a good place. Just know that you get what you pay for: unfinished concrete floors, limited cooking utensils and other kitchen tools, no extra touches (i.e.: no bath mat, no hand towel for the bathroom), decor / furnishings are quite basic). Also, note that the pool is primarily in the shade throughout the day (due to the trees on the property).
