Maximos Apartment in Corfu Old Town

The host family is wonderful and they have a lovely home. It is very spacious and easily accommodates larger families. The location is very central, literally steps from Liston area, and very convenient for Faliraki Bathing Beach. The AC is strong and there is a full kitchen. It definitely makes you feel like you are a local, and the host is very responsive.

There really wasn’t anything to not like. Generally be aware that parking in the old town can be challenging. However, as listed in the property info, there is a parking lot in front and some parking by the bathing beach.

The location was excellent and was the highlight of our stay. The apartment is ideally situated on the outskirts of Corfu Old Town, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, historic sites, and other attractions. Everything we wanted to see was within a convenient walking distance.

Unfortunately, several aspects of the apartment did not meet our expectations. The refrigerator did not work from the first day of our stay. The second bathroom did not provide enough hot water for our family. The stairway leading to the apartment was very narrow, steep, uneven, and poorly lit, which made carrying luggage and moving around more challenging. In addition, some of the carpeting appeared not to have been properly vacuumed, and there were very few available electrical outlets in the bedrooms because the air-conditioning units were already using them. While the location was outstanding, these maintenance and comfort issues negatively affected our overall experience.

Heel mooi appartement met alle voorzieningen. Zeer proper. Perfecte locatie. Kon allemaal niet beter.

Dit verblijf is door de moeilijke trap naar de tweede verdieping niet geschikt voor oudere mensen die wat slecht te been zijn. Maar dat is dan ook de enige, wat mindere, opmerking die we kunnen maken. Verder was alles gewoon perfect.
