Had a lovely 3-night stay in Hotel St Annen. We arrived with an early flight to Hamburg and the staff were very accommodating with storing our luggage until our rooms were ready for check in. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was fresh and tasty! Hope to come back next year!

Nice hotel with good location

Good location near concert venues such as Knust and Nochtspeicher, but far enough from the hassle of Reperbahn. Miniature Wunderland is near as well, only about half an hour walk. Room had a big safe for laptop. The shower did not leak water out of the cabin. Good breakfast.

It would be good to know beforehand that breakfast is not limited to what you see in the buffet as the waiter will serve coffee/tea and provide eggs and bacon prepared according to your wishes.

A gem!

This hotel is a gem! The staff is very welcoming, the breakfast offers just what you need, it is clean and the AC works perfectly 👍🏻 There is a bus stop 2 mins away that easily takes you to other parts of the city if you don’t want to walk. They offer a daily free drink per person if you don’t ask for cleaning. Such a nice vibe in these quarters! We recommend to eat at Mr Kebab.

It is very nice that the hotel offers parking places, but you better be a good driver to manage the parking space. A thing that has nothing to do with the hotel: there is a smell of weed wherever you go in St Pauli.

Home in the heart of St. Pauli

Very friendly and helpful reception, quick check in. The hotel is tucked away in a corner a bit of a walk to the underground but close by a great restaurant (Giovanni's) and interesting cafés, Kneipe etc. Its quiet at night despite the lively location.

There's a nice selection of excellent South African wines but not really a place to drink it except the garden or the dining area!

Fabulous & cozy hotel in St Pauli

Very comfortable family room with 2 double beds which was hard to find in Europe (most family rooms have a sofa bed or bunk beds) Hotel was on a quiet street even though it was a short walk away from Reeperbahn. Easily accessible by bus from the train station. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also fabulous - and included eggs to order. They offered us a complimentary drink in lieu of housekeeping which we opted for - and I had the best wine from Beaumont Family Wines - wines that they exclusively import to Germany, in their cozy dining area. The gentleman at the front desk whose name I now forget, suggested an Italian restaurant Giovanni right opposite the hotel, which was one of the best meals we had on our 21 day trip! Highly recommend. Absolutely delightful stay and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great stay

Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and although smaller choice for breakfast, but incredible quality. Close to the harbour, but it was not a clean and quiet neighbourhood. But the hotel exceeded our expectations with its quality and service.

The only thing to criticize is the parking. The garage is small and narrow. You can't park in the neighborhood. But the helpful staff ended up parking us themselves - We have big SUV.

Everything was really good except the location. We didn't feel that much comfortable because of the surrounding. The area is really good for couples but probably not for the family. Really nice breakfast and atmosphere.

1) Poor wifi internet:( 2) Very limited breakfast options and ordering (waiting for) warm food instead of self-service (Swedish table); 3) A glass of wine (in exchange) was promised for not cleaning rooms every day, but I asked a tea instead. - I got it, but was charged when checking out (later receptionist excluded it, when I reminded about their "deal").

Good quality business hotel

The room size was good and the bed comfortable. Unlike a lot of hotels I stay in, the temperature in the room was not to hot. Breakfast was a good buffet with an option of freshly cooked scrambled eggs. A good choice of hotel for anyone travelling to Hamburg on business.

It's good for a short stay.

It's clean and there is a comfortable bed. Approximately 30 minutes walk to the city centre. Very friendly personnel.

The room and the restaurant are quite small for us. If I knew Hamburg before arrival I'd choose a place closer to the city centre for touristic purpose of visiting.

Excellent breakfast buffet with eggs cooked per request and nice drink selection. Hotel's location was a ten-minute walk from two Hamburg subway lines for easy access to all parts of the city, with the main train station 8 minutes away. Internet connections lightning fast!

The selection of TV channels was disappointing with no basic international channels such as BBC, CNN, Netflix.

Wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, great value for money.

Loved the staff (hi Sarah!) who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Plus the hotel was in a great area and perfect for our family as there was a big playground next door for our five year old.

Onsite parking was tricky to get into.
