About thirty houses, a small square, a small church, five people, this is Bacciardi, the place chosen by Betty and Lorenzo to live together and grow their children. Closed to a ridge just below Mount Nerone, this small center can not be reached by car, you only get on foot and need comfortable shoes. Walking over the threshold of these buildings seems to have made a dip in the past where life had other rhythms and spent serene. The renovation has been done in bio-building, there is also a commitment to respect for the environment with rainwater recovery, use of solar panels and the decision to use only wood to heat up. In 2010, the restaurant was inaugurated where happy moments are spent together with the people who come here. The kitchen is improvised, the menu is sound, seasonal, based on local products, simple ingredients but revamped genius by Lorenzo. Pasta is homemade, just like bread. Breakfast is made with bread and jams, goat's milk, homemade cakes or tarts. The rooms to receive guests are three, one double, one triple, both with bathroom and an apartment that can accommodate up to 6 people with kitchen use. The colors, the fresh flowers, rosemary in the shower, the scent in the sheets, are the attentions given to the people who come to stay here. There are still many dreams to be built in the field, a tent camping and a synergic vegetable garden, based on the principles of biodynamics and the planting of extinct fruit trees. All this with the hope of giving you well-being and leaving a good memory of whoever goes there. A place where you sit on old chairs can relax, sip an aperitif between friends. Here, far from every destruction, reigns silence, a precious thing of these times! P. S. For all those who can not do without cell phones, there is no field here!
