Bridge Street Cardiff

A great opportunity to relive the long-gone time as a semi-poor, noodle eating student. This hotel was like a magic time machine that took me back to the 90's when I struggled with the exams. Nevertheless, it was a positive feeling and the hotel met (almost) all my expectations. Firstly, the view from the top floor over the city was awesome! I would like to thank the management that I was given this room. The room itself was clean and, as expected from a student dorm room, quite small, which I didn't mind as long as it was clean. The bed was comfy and the temperature inside the room at night was cool with the window opened. The WiFi did indeed cater for my need for nighttime entertainment and the bath room offered great hot shower. What I did miss in the room was a kettle and perhaps a couple of tea bags for my evening tea. I know that this wasn't in the picture and there is a canteen on the first floor, but I believe a kettle is not much to ask for, and would give this review an "exceeded my expectations" rating. A big praise to the on-duty security personnel who tried his utmost to find me a tea cup, even a paper tea cup would suffice, although there were absolutely no tea cups (or any utensils) to be have at all in the whole establishment.  Overall, this is a great value stay in the town.

Very hard to get hold of any glass, cups or utensils to eat or drink with. And this is a student dorm turned into a hotel during the summer?

bardzo mili pracownicy, przyjazna atmosfera, cudowne widoki, krzesło z biurkiem, gdzie mogłem coś pisać spokojnie, duże otwieralne okno kryte w całości przez zasłonę

jakiś czujnik nie działał w łazience, trochę za ciepło - bez klimatyzacji

Didn't expect to find a very badic room.. a bed to sleep for such a price. No hangers in the closet.. some hair on bed sheets and toilet.. no toilet paper .. the reception guy gave me a roll the next day.. no trash bin.. and you should throw your trash before leaving..i will not repeat this experience for sure
