Poor communication with administrators, lack of accountability and unsatisfactory cleaning.

The location was good and all the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful.

The room was not well cleaned before I arrived (rubbish still in the bins, clogged shower). Also the lock to my room was broken on the day I arrived, so for the first day I needed to ask the front desk to come upstairs and let me in anytime I wanted to enter my room. Also, there was an unacceptable clerical error, in which two nights before they sent an email falsely claiming that I did not submit my supporting documents, threatening to cancel my stay. The office was not open at all between that email coming through and my check in, so I had to call the front desk who could only tell me it seemed fine. I kept receiving emails saying my stay was cancelled, despite being let into my room on arrival, and it took a week into my stay for the administrators to tell me that indeed, I was allowed to be on property. They never apologized or admitted there had been an error. This caused me great emotional stress and had a significant negative impact on my trip to Cardiff.

Disappointing Experience!

I had a very disappointing experience with this property. Although I submitted all the required student documents almost two weeks before my arrival, the property delayed reviewing them until the last minute. On the day before check-in, I was suddenly told that my documents were “incomplete". Despite providing official proof of enrolment from my university and resending documents multiple times, I was informed just hours before check-in that my booking might be cancelled. Eventually, when I arrived at the property, I was told that my name was not on the accepted list, and I was refused entry. To make matters worse, I even received “check-out instructions” directly from the property a day before I was supposed to check - out, which shows how poorly the process was managed. The handling of the process was disorganised and unprofessional, causing me to waste valuable time during my short stay in Cardiff. I ended up having to find another accommodation at the last minute. I do not recommend this property to anyone expecting clear communication, reliability, and respect for guests’ time.

It was a great place to stay. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed, including a kitchenette and strong WiFi. I appreciated the 24/7 front desk and the games room was a nice bonus. It’s in a really convenient spot—close to the university, the city center, and public transport. The building felt safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax. Overall, a solid experience.

The room was very spacious. And I liked the fact that kitchen utensils and cutlery, bedding, towels and tissue roles were provided.

I wasn't allowed to book or use facilities like dining room and study space.

Nice spacious room with great facilities. Good location. It's a shame nobody had cleaned the room before I got there otherwise I'd be able to praise it a bit more.

Most of the staff were rude to me and were incredibly unhelpful. My room was covered in all these tufts of human hair for some reason and my room card didn't work. The staff refused to give me one that worked until a different professional one I hadn't dealt with yet gave me a card 4 days in. The staff also refused to give me a broom to clean all the hair away or send a custodian over to clean the room. The custodian that showed up 4 days in then lectured me for 5 minutes for not asking the staff to send him over sooner so...

Was student accommodation place was not aware . was so hard to find due to the name as it actual called eclipse ? , when showed the women my hooking she said I’ve got the wrong place , I went back and turned out was the right place. no contact number was going through when I could not find the place , was not allowed any one in room , my bin was full of rotting food have picture ,fridge was dirty have picture , no washing up liquid and the tea towels are damp and stale dirty smell
