This was my second stay at this property, and I enjoyed it for all the same reasons as the first visit. The cottage is a piece of Bainbridge Island history. Arriving here feels like going back in time to a different era on Bainbridge Island--in all the good ways. Everything you need for a short or long stay is on premises. Private and quiet, yet with plenty of room to wander around the grounds, this place is a gem for any guest. Pet owners, in particular, will rejoice.
Be sure to run the tap water a bit before imbibing. The old water piping can leave quite the metallic taste in those first few gallons. Not a complaint--if anything, it's a hallmark of authenticity.
