This might have been our favourite accomodation of the trip were in not for the fact that the water was switched off more often than it was on. Quite a disaster, really.

Beautiful pool, setting, facilities, but a holiday really turns stressful quickly when you can't wash up, flush the toilet, brush your teeth without a bottle of water and fill the kettle. In 5 days I think we each managed about one shower. I was able to stay calm but my boyfriend found it extremely stressful and it was hugely problematic. I contacted the owners multiple times and was given chat GPT-style messages designed to make me feel heard/validated, but without any actual problem solving - I was merely told to go to the front desk, which is actually just a hut in the car park with a man who does not speak English - and the issue seemed to be the entire water system rather than exclusive to our apartment (judging from the other holidayers also baffled/upset by it all). Honestly I am far from a drama queen but I don't actually think a place should be legally rented out if water (AKA basic hygiene) is such an issue - it's a pretty basic requirement. I truly hope for anyone else booking in future that we were just extremely unlucky during our stay and that it's normally OK - yet I don't get the impression it was seen as particularly unusual, so I think it'd be a risky place to book. Perhaps the owner will be able to reply to this, and reassure others that it's a risk worth taking, who knows. Just thought it best to warn others. I think I deserved some money back, really.
