    My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at The Soul Zanzibar! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The check-in process was smooth, and the Maasai security team even helped carry our luggage to our room. The location is one of the best things about this hotel. You can literally walk out of your room and be right on the beach. Being on the east side of the island meant we were treated to beautiful morning sunrises. Since the hotel is small and away from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist areas, it felt like we had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. It was peaceful, intimate, and incredibly relaxing. We stayed in an ocean-view room. While the room itself was fairly basic, it was spotlessly clean, the A/C worked great, and the room was cleaned every day. The grounds were also beautifully maintained. We ate all of our meals at the hotel, and the food was very good. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety of options. I especially enjoyed the burger, while my wife loved the samosas! What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Jola, Salome, Martin, Hussein, Amina, Elias, Zuleyth (aka “Dimples”), Salom (aka “Cappaccino”), and Kevin were all incredibly welcoming and hospitable throughout our stay. The lady who cleaned our room was also extremely patient and accommodating. Everyone treated us with genuine kindness and made us feel like we were part of the family. A special shout-out to Jola, the hotel manager. She personally welcomed us when we arrived and even gave us her personal phone number so we could reach her whenever we needed anything. She checked in on us every day to make sure we were comfortable and that all of our needs were being taken care of. Her hands-on approach really made a difference and showed us how much she genuinely cared about her guests. The Soul Zanzibar is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful and romantic getaway. The intimate setting, beautiful beach, attentive staff, and relaxed atmosphere make it a very special place.

    Wonderful boutique style hotel right on the beach. Superb room and facilities. Restaurant and bar ( both open air) are a joy to use. Staff were all brilliant and very ably led by Yola who always had time for a chat and was very friendly and informative about life on this lovely island.
